FAQs

A. The registration fee for the TCS London Marathon is £100 and we ask all our charity fundraisers to raise a minimum of £2,000

A. Charity running places come at a cost to the charity, and fundraising targets/registration fees help ensure we don’t lose out on our investment and raise as much as possible to support our life saving work. Your £100 registration fee will count towards your overall fundraising target. Registration fees for charity places in events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

A. Well done for securing a place in the ballot! We’d love for you to join Team Dan and run for us. Please email grace@dsmfoundation.org.uk if you have secured a ballot place with London Marathon Events.

As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as you can to help support our work with young people and their families.

A. We will review each application before making a decision. To improve your chances, please give us as much information as to why you want to support the DSM Foundation and how you plan on raising £2,000.

A. You will have a 50% (£1,000) fundraising deadline of Friday 12th December 2025 (4 months before the event). We then ask that the full £2,000 is with us by May 26th 2026 (1 month after the event).

A. We set the minimum fundraising target at £2,000 to make sure we’re able to cover the costs that we’ve paid for the place as well putting enough back into our work with young people and the adults in their lives.

You don’t need to raise the full amount until 1 month after event day. We know lots of donations come in on the week of and after the event. So there is still plenty of time to plan your fundraising and collect donations.

We will share your fundraising link regularly through our social media platforms, website and newsletters.

Please make sure you’re confident you can raise the £2,000 before you apply.
